In addition to Account and Usage data, Sift will also process hardware-based identifiers, device identifiers, information and metadata about the device. We process this data for the purpose of protecting our services, systems, users and business from fraudulent and improper use. The legal basis for this processing is to take steps to enter into a contract at your request and our legitimate interests, namely to ensure the ongoing security of our website and services.

  5. Disclosure of your information
    The information you provide to us will be held on our computers in the UK and may be accessed by or given to third parties some of whom are located outside the European Economic Area who act for us for the purposes set out in this policy or for other purposes approved by you. Those parties process information, fulfil and deliver orders, process credit card payments and provide support services on our behalf. For example, your mobile telephone number and the contents of your SMS message will be given to mobile network operators for the purposes of providing you the goods and services you have requested. We will disclose your name, address and credit card details to HSBC Plc for the purposes of processing your credit or debit card payment and to credit reference agencies for the purpose of setting up your account with us.
