A new report by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission found that, as at 31 December 2018, 61% of all internet connections in Australia were accessed via mobile handsets, making it the most common way Australians access the internet. (Source) The Australia Post 2019 eCommerce industry report also revealed that mobile has the fastest YOY growth (28.8%) among other purchasing channels, with laptop having a -5.1% YOY growth and desktop at -11%.
